Started in 2012, the business began with a limited but deep focus on certain Microsoft tools and has subsequently added a much broader array of services all underpinned by world class compliance and scalability. Today Argantic helps the IT teams at corporates, educational institutions and the public sector with complex migrations, app modernization, and cloud optimization.

Our Journey

  • 2012 – GACS Pty (Ltd) “GACS” is founded by Garry Ackerman. The aim of the company is to provide Microsoft based products and services with a particular focus on Communications and Enterprise Content Management. 
  • 2012 – GACS acquires a 30% shareholding in Magnisoft Pty (Ltd), a software development company with a strong capability with Microsoft Sharepoint. 
  • 2014 – Consulting IT Pty (Ltd) “CIT” is founded by Richard Shaw. The purpose of CIT is to provide consulting and support services to customers with a focus on the emerging cloud trends, also with a focus on Microsoft environments. 
  • 2015 – GACS and CIT become partner organisations and are immediately able to offer a wider variety of complementary services to their respective customers.  
  • 2016 – Due to the success of the partnership, GACS and CIT merge to become Argantic GACS Pty (Ltd).  “Argantic” as a brand is established and increases its focus on cloud migrations and optimization as well as communication and content management. 
  • 2017 – Argantic acquires the remaining shares in Magnisoft. 
  • 2024 – Argantic joins the Turrito group alongside Turrito Networks, Dial a Nerd, Cloudgate and Cloudware.  Colin Thornton and Brian Timperley join as directors.
